FOOD SHELF Supporting Share

This is returning for 2024! We have been working with CAER in Elk River, our local food shelf, for many many years donating thousands of pounds of produce in the process. In 2022 we started a new project where we donate actual CSAs for them to utilize (they get a big variety too!)
 
We have 2 Jumbo Shares available for purchase by the $25 increments you see here. When this product is sold out, it means we have collected enough donations to deliver 2 Jumbo Shares every week. Ben & I are matching your donations as well- so we are donating 2 Jumbo Shares too! 
 
That means that every week, all summer long, we will deliver 4 Jumbo Shares (appx 4.5 bushels) of produce to CAER and they get it into the hands of those who truly need it. We also donate surplus produce every week, above and beyond the normal CSA Shares they get.
 
 
In 2021 we donated 4,281 pounds.
In 2022 we donated 5,848 pounds.
In 2023 we donated 8,279 pounds.
 
That is truly incredible.  Either directly or indirectly, every single one of our CSA Members contributes to these efforts. Thank you for your support of our farm, and the food shelf as well!!
