THE PRODUCE

We grow over 45 kinds of vegetables, fruits and herbs; in total over 100 varieties of produce!

We grow several varieties of each kind of produce to help prevent crop losses. For example, we plant 4 varieties of red watermelons each year that are very similar in size and taste. If disease affects one variety, it's unlikely that it would affect all 4 varieties. Having multiple varieties of each kind of produce is a buffer from crop failure for us and our Members.

We grow multiple plantings of the more popular varieties so we can provide them with more frequency. We've been fine tuning our planting schedule for years; taking pride in providing the most complete variety of produce throughout the season while emphasizing in the produce that our members really want.

Join us this season to get a thorough understanding of what it means to eat seasonally. We have got a lot to offer and we are excited to share it with you!

MORE FRUIT

We provide our Members with Red Watermelon, Yellow Watermelon, Muskmelon and Honey Crisp Apples at no additional charge.

If for any reason one variety of fruit is unavailable, we will substitute with other locally grown fruits (we consider distances within an hour of the farm to be local).

**In 2024 we are adding ANOTHER type of apple!! We have always added Honey Crisps to our CSA Shares. New this year- we're adding another type of apple! We'll chat with our orchard this season and see what types they recommend we offer you all- the only problem is that there are SO many good types on MN apples!

Apple Shares are also available, which is a separate box FULL of honey crisps (that would be on top of the normal amount that comes in your CSAs).

SIGN UP FOR YOUR SHARE

We would be happy to have you join us this season!

Consider signing up for your CSA Share sooner than later to reserve your Share of our Harvest! We sell out every year and it's usually the end of February or early March. Our Returning Members from 2023 had the entire month of January to sign up and then we opened our Membership to NEW Members starting February 1st.
